Betty Clothing is a concept project for an online boutique that sells a curated collection of vintage apparel for fashion forward and creative women. The art direction is rooted in research from the Elizabethan Era, also known as the Golden Age of the English Renaissance. Mixed typography, gold tones, and chic clothing give the brand a vintage meets modern approach.
The brandmark is inspired by an embroidery pattern on Queen Elizabeth I’s dress from the famous English Renaissance era painting “1588 Armada Portrait” by George Gower.
